A Hawaii Wedding: Getting Married In Paradise
Weddings in Hawaii have always been popular for couples getting married, but with more and more couples looking for alternative and unusual weddings, destination weddings are growing in popularity. Hawaii is also a popular place for a honeymoon after a wedding or for a wedding vow renewal.
Deciding on where to celebrate one’s wedding can be quite a difficult task. A Hawaii wedding package offers many different options, whether you enjoy a quiet wedding in a remote area of the island, or a resort wedding with no privacy. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. A resort for example oftentimes will help you put together a wedding package, whereas a solitary location requires additional planning, especially when it comes to guest travel. Kauai wedding packages are one of the hottest things for couples these days. Kauai, with its central mountains, grand waterfalls, and scenic beaches is particularly beautiful. The only downside to this marvelous destination is that airlines don’t fly directly to Kauai. You’ll need to take an inter-island flight, usually from Honolulu, to get to Kauai.
Hawaii’s natural outdoor beauty lends itself to a more tranquil setting than a church for a wedding. Brides typically wear dresses of lighter weight than the classic wedding gown. It is common to see the groom in a Hawaii wedding sporting khaki pants with an Aloha (Hawaiian-print) shirt. The couple may even go barefoot or wear plain sandals. Flowers are abundant in many tropical varieties. The nuptials are commonly officiated by a non-denominational professional instead of a church-associated clergy person.
A Hawaiian beach wedding is definitely pretty, but the reception at a Hawaii resort is one of a kind. Many recently-weds transform their reception into a traditional Hawaiian luau, which mainly features roasted pigs and traditional hula dancers. Music in a luau does not matter – solos from ukuleles, guitars, harps, string instruments: everything is welcome. As well, having the event on the beach allows for romantic bond fires and dances.

Hawaii is known for its beauty and its stunning locations.
