Paint Tools That Make It Easier To Paint

Posted on Friday, December 25, 2009 in Brandnew

we don’t worry about taking painting tools and painting the kitchen, rec room, or tool shed when we’re young. It’s just not a big deal. We don’t have old bones and arthritis to worry about. Sure, it may take some time, but we just resign ourselves to it and do it.

As we begin to age, however, stiffness in the bones and other such illnesses begin to catch up with us. It’s usually around this time that we start to look for “cheats” to help us.

Luckily, however, some businesses are producing painting brushes and supplies to help us out. Many of their product lines now include tools such as ergonomic paint brushes. But these companies are actually creating entire lines of products that are making it easier to do all sorts of tasks. For example, just last year, one company came out with a no taping “Edge-n-Roll” tool.

Usually, before you begin painting a room, you take some painters or masking tape and tape off edges around windows, doors, and so on so that you don’t get paint on them. Well, this tool combines the tray and the tape masking feature into one. You simply fill up the tray and begin painting.

And there is another corporation that makes ergonomic paint brushes. Why are these paint brushes so special? Because they were partially designed by with the aid of professional painters who do hundreds of hours and more of painting during an average year. No matter if you’re left handed or right handed, theses brushes allow you to paint smooth strokes and for long periods of time with minimal discomfort.

The brushes were designed in a special way in order to reduce the common complaint of painter – forearm fatigue. People using them have said that they feel very natural, like an extension of the hand. It doesn’t matter whether you’re re-painting aluminum siding or painting concrete floors and walls, having ergonomic tools available to you is an advantage.

Every year the average age of the population continues to go up. Eventually, as the baby boomers take over the senior marketplace, it’s almost a sure thing that more and more companies will start to produce home improvement. products targeted towards seniors.
